This transformational course is designed to build on the understanding, knowledge and skills of current Thrive Practitioners by equipping them with the enhanced skill-set that they need to deliver the Thrive Licensed Practitioner course – our experiential training in the Thrive Approach for adults working with children and young people. Depending on whether they have been licensed at Early Years, Childhood or Adolescence, the course enables them to deliver the Thrive Licensed Practitioner course relevant to their previous training and experience.
This is an intensive and emotionally demanding course that combines virtual training sessions, e-learning and hands-on training experiences spread over a period of approximately six months. The course equips delegates to become competent Thrive trainers able to deliver the Thrive Licensed Practitioner course. During the course, delegates will consolidate their existing knowledge of Thrive, deepen their understanding of Thrive theory, learn about what it means to become a Thrive trainer, hone their training skills and put those skills into practice in the field.
This course is ideal for any Thrive Licensed Practitioners, Early Years, Childhood or Adolescent, with at least 6 months experience of using Thrive in a setting, and would like to take their training to a more advanced level so they can train others to become Thrive Licensed Practitioners.
This course is worth 50 CPD points.
The course is structured into five modules with 2 e-learning modules, 5 days of virtual training sessions, 4 co-training sessions and 2 further days for assessment and licensing:
After successfully completing the Thrive Train-the-Trainer course, you will have gained 50 CPD points and now be able to run training courses for Thrive Licensed Practitioners.
All our training is now delivered by our experienced Thrive trainers using a mix of live webinars, e-learning sessions and e-mentoring. On our Thrive courses page you can find dates for courses running throughout the year. We also have a team of regional Relationship Managers who are happy to help – meet the regional team here.
To become a Thrive Licensed Practitioner you will need to be working with children on a regular basis and be able to carry out Thrive-Online assessments to pass the course. We recommend volunteering at a school if this is not possible in your current role.
