Everything You Need to Introduce Thrive to All Children in Your School (KS1, KS2)
A course for Senior Leaders to help you enhance the emotional and social development of children in your setting as an every child approach and raise standards of achievement.
This intensive two-day training will introduce you to the Thrive Approach, it will give a clear understanding of the Thrive child development model, and how to apply this to support age-appropriate social and emotional learning. It will help you embed Thrive within the everyday curriculum, routines and structures within a mainstream primary school to improve learning outcomes.
Leadership teams will be able to:
• understand the links between social and emotional development and maximising learning potential to raise standards of achievement. • develop a whole school, trauma sensitive approach to support social and emotional health of all children. • have an understanding of appropriate expectations of behaviour at ‘right time’ development stages and how to support the development of these. • screen all classes against ‘right time’ emotional and social development using the Thrive-Online assessment and action planning tool. • interpret the Thrive-Online data to evidence progress and demonstrate impact of the Approach for a range of audiences. • plan professional development sessions to deliver to all staff in school to support them in how to use the Thrive ‘Right Time Learning’ Approach. • understand the role of Thrive Licensed Practitioners and consider how to support them effectively.
