Overview

Course overview

In this early phase of adolescence, our 11–13-year-olds need us to be respectful and supportive as they transition into a new phase of their development. During this time, they are tentatively beginning to discover more about themselves and the world around them. Our role is to help them feel safe, welcomed by the communities they belong to and trusting of the adult relationships around them.

‘Understanding how to positively support 11–13-year olds’ is a two-hour virtual session designed specifically for Thrive Licensed Practitioners.  You’ll learn how to support these young people with what they need to flourish and thrive in this phase of adolescence.
