Working with and supporting colleagues to embed the Thrive Approach is hugely rewarding; it has the power to transform the culture of your setting, ensuring that the social and emotional wellbeing of all the children and young people is placed front and centre. One of the first and most important steps towards this transformation is supporting staff to understand and adopt the Thrive relational stance.
In this 2-hour webinar, we will revisit the Thrive relational stance, exploring the emotional impact of different types of interactions between staff and children. In particular, we will look at how using PACE and the VRFs can transform these interactions, with the result that children feel safe, seen, supported and understood. Next, we will share some simple ideas and strategies that you can take back to your setting – right here, right now – to help staff understand and begin to adopt the Thrive relational stance. Finally, we will discuss other options for strengthening the impact of Thrive across your setting so that all children and young people are able to benefit.
This CPD webinar is ideal for all Thrive Licensed Practitioners looking to further embed the Thrive Approach across their setting.

For settings that would like to commission a face-to-face training session, there is a flat rate charge of £300 per trainer per day (or part thereof) plus VAT.

To become a Thrive Licensed Practitioner you will need to be working with children on a regular basis and be able to carry out Thrive-Online assessments to pass the course. We recommend volunteering at a school if this is not possible in your current role.
