Adolescence is a transformative time in a young person’s development, full of both opportunity and vulnerability. By understanding the changes that occur in adolescent brains and bodies, we can further enhance our capacity as practitioners to be the rock and resource our adolescents need in order to flourish and thrive.
Join us in this workshop as we discover more about how we can harness our knowledge and understanding of neuroscience in order to extend our relational skills and strengthen the impact of our work with all young people.
Adolescence can be a turbulent time. Young people need emotionally available, reflective adults to be alongside them helping them to navigate this time of expansion and change. At Thrive we understand that adolescence presents us with opportunities to offer the right types of support, in the right way, at the right time, resourcing young people with the tools they need to successfully transition into adulthood.
This two-hour webinar will develop licensed practitioners’ capacity to respond to the developmental needs of our adolescents, deepening understanding of the ‘How To Be’ strategies and the ‘What To Do’ activities that support young people to securely develop in their social and emotional learning.
This CPD webinar is ideal for any Thrive Licensed Practitioner working with adolescents, particularly in secondary schools. It may also be of interest to those working with Year 6 students in primary schools.
This 2-hour webinar is worth 5 CPD points.
