28th June 2018| News

We were delighted to sponsor St Breock Primary School's recent Rainbow Run, donating colourful Thrive medals. The children and staff all had a really wonderful day, while raising over £1000 for the school.

Below is the official press release following the event:

It was a glorious day for the second Friends of St Breock Primary School Rainbow Run, where the only clouds in the sky were red, orange, green and blue!
Wadebridge Community Fire Station hoses generated screams of excitement at the starting line and created a magical rainbow which filled the sky as contestants ran around the school grounds with their parents, friends and teachers all joining in the fun.
The event was a fantastic success, raising over £1,000 for the school.  The money raised from this event has been allocated to fund two Art Murals; Jo Bacon of KernowArt is working with the children, creating mosaic art tiles for both the lower and upper playgrounds.  Our Thrive Coordinator, Mrs Austin will also be allocated funds to provide extra resources for the children she supports.
