Course Outcomes

Educators are going above and beyond to support the children and young people in their care. Faced with increasing pressure and limited resources, many are voting with their feet as the recruitment and retention crisis continues to hit schools hard. This course seeks to change that.

To help navigate these challenges, provide a genuinely happy work environment, and keep educators in the profession, staff wellbeing needs to be high up on the priority list. This training will empower educators to put themselves first, reflect on their wellbeing and build a toolkit of coping strategies to draw from when stress and overwhelm creeps in.

Take back the reins to your wellbeing

If you’re ready to take control and improve your wellbeing so you can feel calm at work and support young people to reach their potential, you’re in the right place. Armed with effective techniques to recognise and respond when you’re struggling, you’ll learn how to manage stress and protect your mental health - from the classroom to the staff room and beyond.

Whether thoughts of certain children weigh heavily on your mind at night, you feel anxious as you approach the school gates, or you struggle to keep your cool in the face of disruptive behaviour in the classroom, this 3-hour training has got you covered.

By the end of this course, you will:

  • Be more aware of how you respond to stress and the key indicators to look out for
  • Have a toolkit of strategies you can draw from in
    challenging situations
  • Feel inspired to prioritise your wellbeing so you can be
    at your best
  • Be a role model for others, showcasing your new-found confidence and resilience

This course includes a 30-day free trial of Thrive-Online, our award-winning assessment, action-planning and progress-monitoring tool.
