Over 50,000 staff have already received Thrive training, ensuring that more than 600,000 children and young people aged 0-25 have access to teachers and other educators that can support their mental health.
Formed in 1996, Thrive is an award winning company and pioneer in using technology to measure and improve young people’s mental health.
Our approach is easy-to-use, allows schools to track and monitor results, and provides clear evidence of development through Thrive-Online (TOL). Based on the needs of the child or group of children, TOL suggests bespoke strategies and activities that educators can use to help close development or emotional gaps and improve pupil mental health. In turn, Thrive schools report improved behaviour and attainment, amongst a host of other impacts.
Although every school will have its own requirements and objectives, there is one simple route you can follow to start your Thrive journey. The option below can be adjusted to accommodate different budget levels and setting types, while allowing you to implement Thrive as a whole-school approach.
Start your Thrive journey by joining over 2,800 settings in the UK already using Thrive to improve the emotional wellbeing and attainment of the children and young people in their setting.
To ensure that there is full support and understanding of how to develop a whole-setting wellbeing programme, one member of the senior leadership team attends our Leading Emotionally Healthy Settings course.
This is followed by one or two staff members joining our Licensed Practitioner training (some schools train larger numbers of Licensed Practitioners); learning how to be and what to do in response to children's varying, and often complex, social and emotional needs.
To equip all staff with the fundamental concepts and language of Thrive, all staff attend our Thrive Whole-School Induction.
This route gives you the best possible start to implementing Thrive as a school-wide approach.
