become a thrive secondary school
Reserve your place by 13th July for the Autumn 1 cohort.
Thrive SEMH intervention gives secondary schools a practical starting point for becoming a Thrive School.
By training a Thrive Licensed Practitioner and using Thrive-Online to assess and track need, schools develop the expertise to understand emotional development and provide targeted support for pupils facing barriers to learning.

Thrive-Online supports assessment, planning and progress tracking for the pupils included in your chosen intervention level.
Choose support for up to 50, 100, 150 or 200 pupils.
This includes My Thrive Scan, which provides a whole-school snapshot of wellbeing and provision. Thrive-Online is then used to assess, plan and track targeted early intervention for the pupils who need support most.
Staff can also access Thrive e-learning modules through Thrive-Online, helping build a shared understanding of the approach across the school.

It’s particularly relevant where:
When you walk into the school, you can tell it's a Thrive School because there is a calm atmosphere that everyone comments on.”

In many secondary schools, the Thrive Licensed Practitioner is a member of staff who works closely with pupils experiencing barriers to learning.
This often includes:
These practitioners lead the targeted Thrive support and work directly with pupils.
Ongoing requirement: From the academic year after qualification, Thrive Licensed Practitioners need to complete annual Thrive CPD to maintain their practitioner status.
Some schools also choose to train a senior leader through the Leading Emotionally Healthy Schools course.
Senior leaders help make sure Thrive becomes part of everyday school practice.
This is particularly important for schools that want to strengthen inclusion across the whole school and align Thrive with behaviour, attendance, pastoral, SEND and school improvement priorities.
This training is optional and can be completed at a later stage.
If you're ready to move ahead with becoming a Thrive Secondary School through our SEMH Intervention, you can book online above.
