Can you help us reach our goal?

As Thrive gears up for an exciting period of growth, we are recruiting a Head of Business Development to help us reach our goal of helping 1.5 million children and young people understand and manage their emotions, so they feel safe, supported, and ready to learn.

We are looking for someone who will create a culture of positivity, energy, aspiration and confidence, combined with commercial good sense and professional sales management. The job will involve proactively identifying opportunities for Thrive® across the education market, including local authorities, multi academy trusts, international and independent school and nursery groups, as well as individual schools and settings.

Growth and development

Over 50,000 staff in 2,600 schools and settings have already received Thrive training, ensuring that 600,000 children and young people aged 0 to 25 have access to the Thrive Approach®. Over the next 12 months, we are committed to a step-change of growth and development and the Head of Business Development role will be a key part of this.

“We believe that mental wellbeing is the foundation of attendance and academic achievement, and we are committed to making early intervention and support available to as many children and young people as possible.  We are at an exciting stage of our journey and the Head of Business Development will have the opportunity to make a real difference to the lives of young people across the UK,” said Anna Smee, Thrive’s Managing Director.

Further recruitment

Thrive will be recruiting more roles over the next 12 months, starting with some changes to our Development Team, which will be split into a Business Development Team and a Partnerships Team.

Lee Prichard, our current Head of UK Regional Development, will be leading the new Thrive Partnerships Team and the Head of Business Development will join Lee on the expanded Senior Leadership Team.

“This is an opportunity for an energetic and driven business development professional to help shape Thrive’s growth and to play a part in helping thousands of children and young people to reach their potential and to become more resilient and able to manage life’s ups and downs,” said Lee.
