Dr Suzanne Zeedyk
We are thrilled to welcome Dr Suzanne Zeedyk back to our conferences this year. Suzanne is passionate about the science of human connection and how we can create, work on and restore our relationships and connections with others.
Her core aspiration is strengthening our awareness of the decisions we make when caring for children. As such, she founded Connected Baby in 2014. Through this work, she and her team help parents and professionals make practical use of the science of connection. Relationships matter.
These relationships can be difficult at times, but it is how we work on them that is important. Even when we feel that we’ve made mistakes, repair work can be done and can actually serve to strengthen the bonds of attachment.
In her Keynote address, she will explore this further, referring to the rupture-repair cycle. Thinking about the barriers to repair, she will identify ways to overcome them. Suzanne is extremely hopeful about our capability to reform and enhance our relationships; the key is to open up, show up and connect.
