Quick, staff-completed scans draw on everyday classroom insight to create your school’s Pupil Wellbeing Index - a simple, consistent measure you can track and use to evidence impact over time.

Staff assess how effectively systems, opportunities and environments help pupils thrive. The results produce a Wellbeing Provision Score, showing what’s working well and where to focus resources for the greatest impact.

Combined results appear in an intuitive dashboard, giving senior leaders a single, reliable view of wellbeing across the school. Track progress over time, identify patterns early, and share clear evidence with Ofsted, governors, and trustees.

Quick to set up, easy to use, and designed to help you measure what matters most.
My Thrive Scan is designed for schools in the UK supporting children from age 3 upwards.
Both scans are completed by your staff - typically the teacher or tutor who knows the pupils best completes the Pupil Wellbeing Scan; and the head of year (or equivalent) completes the Wellbeing Provision Scan. This ensures the insights reflect both how pupils are doing and how well your provision is supporting them. Senior leaders then review the School Wellbeing Snapshot to guide strategy.
My Thrive Scan™ gives you a clear, whole-school view of wellbeing and provision. It shows how pupils are developing and how well your environment supports them - but it doesn’t generate individual action plans.
For targeted SEMH assessment and personalised strategies for individual pupils or small groups, you’ll need Thrive-Online. A full Thrive-Online subscription includes My Thrive Scan, so you can keep scanning for high-level insight while also providing tailored support where it’s needed most.
Please note: you’ll need a trained Thrive Licensed Practitioner in your setting to deliver 1:1 and small-group support through Thrive-Online.

My Thrive Scan provides high-level, aggregated insights to guide school-wide decisions but does not recommend strategies for individual pupils.
If you want to plan targeted SEMH support, you can upgrade to the full Thrive-Online subscription (which includes My Thrive Scan). Thrive-Online offers 1:1 and small-group SEMH assessments that generate tailored action plans and strategies for individual pupils, delivered by a Thrive Licensed Practitioner who leads this work in your setting.

My Thrive Scan is included with your subscription and is fully integrated within the Thrive-Online interface. If your school already has a subscription, you can access this new functionality simply by logging in.
Very little training is needed. My Thrive Scan includes free, in-app e-learning that guides staff through completing scans and interpreting results. It’s quick to set up, easy to use, and designed for busy schools.
There’s no fixed requirement, but most schools complete scans termly or half-termly. This gives you a reliable, up-to-date picture of wellbeing trends and helps you measure progress over time. The dashboard automatically tracks changes so you can see what’s working and where more support may be needed.
