With Thrive embedded in 42 of its 57 schools, Delta Academies Trust is fostering environments where every child's social and emotional needs are prioritised, enabling them to engage more fully with their education. The use of Thrive-Online is crucial in identifying and tracking where support is most needed, allowing the trust to take targeted, data-driven actions. A shining example of this commitment is St Wilfrid’s Academy in Doncaster, which has achieved Thrive’s prestigious School of Excellence status for its innovative and compassionate approach to supporting pupils at risk of exclusion.

In Barking and Dagenham, a borough-wide Thrive Hub co-led by Thrive Licensed Practitioners Katie Parks and Nicola Gough is strengthening social and emotional wellbeing support for children and young people across local schools. Drawing on trauma-informed practice and Thrive’s whole-school framework, the Hub reviews current provision, supports schools to embed Thrive principles, and guides them towards Thrive Ambassador and School of Excellence status. It also delivers direct support through targeted sessions and Family Thrive courses, helping pupils at risk of exclusion and building resilience at home. The Hub’s flexible, school-centred approach is expanding the reach and quality of SEMH support across the borough.
