Question 1:

Are you aware that this is a dual-award qualification which comprises the Level 5 Specialist Teaching Assistant apprenticeship and Thrive Licensed Practitioner training as an additional component?

Have you lived in the UK for at least the past three consecutive years?

Do you have the right to work and study in the UK and hold a permanent role based in England?

To join this programme you need to have EITHER:

Have achieved GCSE grade C (4) or above in English and maths (you will be requested to supply certificates when you apply)

 OR

Be able to achieve Functional Skills Level 2 in these areas whilst on programme (mandatory for ages 16-18). If you’re over 18, you will agree with your setting as to whether you need to complete Functional Skills as part of your apprenticeship.

If you achieved your qualifications internationally (outside of the UK) you will need to have a UK ENIC statement of comparability confirming equivalency to grade 4/C in maths & English.

Do you meet the GCSE requirements or are you willing to complete Functional Skills Level 2 in maths and English?
