How do the Thrive right-time models and reparative models work in the classroom setting? Should children working 1-to-1 with action plans at Being, Doing or Thinking also be included in class action plans? How can children with earlier interruptions be supported by staff in the classroom? This workshop will deepen your skills as the Thrive Licensed Practitioner to advise colleagues in the classroom on optimal ways to support children with Thrive Action Plans.
Supporting children with early interruptions in the classroom is important to ensure that learning opportunities are accessible and the young person is able to take part with the support they need. By developing a child’s age-appropriate learning whilst they are also receiving 1-to-1 or small group support for an earlier strand you are making sure that you are closing the gap to age appropriate behaviours. As the Thrive Licensed Practitioner you are the point of expertise in school and can often be called upon to offer advice and guidance.
This two-hour live webinar will develop your capacity to support the wider staff team to work with children with earlier interruptions. You will discover some helpful ways to respond to the children and young people gaining some new, practical strategies, activities and resources, grounded in recent research, that will enhance your own and your colleagues’ ability to support these children and young people moving forwards.
This CPD webinar is ideal for all Thrive Licensed Practitioners wishing to support colleagues to use Thrive as a right-time approach, supporting the reparative work that you undertake with children and young people.
This two-hour webinar is worth 5 CPD points.
