Championing inclusion worldwide: Thrive at the inaugural World Inclusion Congress

At the inaugural World Inclusion Congress (WIC 2025) in Almaty, Kazakhstan, Thrive and Best Practice Network International are proud to come together as a strategic partner of the International Forums of Inclusion Practitioners (IFIP).

By combining Thrive’s proven impact in inclusion and wellbeing with Best Practice Network International’s globally recognised training delivery, we’re ready to share our joint expertise with practitioners, leaders and policymakers worldwide.

About the International Forums of Inclusion Practitioners (IFIP)

The IFIP is a voluntary, global membership organisation of hundreds of inclusion practitioners. Its vision is a future where every teacher is enabled, through inclusive practices, to teach every child in their classroom, no matter what their ability.

IFIP members include school-based practitioners, authors, university professors and policy makers at national and international levels.

World Inclusion Congress 2025

The inaugural World Inclusion Congress 2025 marks an ambitious step towards reimagining education globally. Led by IFIP and Help Others Pursue Education (HOPE), the event will gather more than 5,000 participants from over 100 countries to exchange knowledge, collaborate and innovate.

One of the most significant outcomes of the Congress will be the creation of the Almaty Declaration and a jointly produced White Paper, which will be launched at the United Nations Headquarters in New York in 2026 – a landmark event that Thrive and Best Practice Network International is honoured to have been invited to.

Thrive Licensed Practitioners share their impact

We’re incredibly proud that two Thrive Licensed Practitioners, Katie Parks and Nicola Gough, will be presenting at WIC 2025. They will showcase how they’re transforming young people’s social and emotional wellbeing across Barking and Dagenham through an innovative borough-wide Thrive Hub.

Learn more about their work here: How Barking and Dagenham’s Thrive Hub is supporting young people’s social and emotional wellbeing.
