Overview

This training day is for Thrive Schools and settings working with secondary-aged young people.

Led by a Thrive Licensed Trainer, this one-day course introduces key Thrive theory and gives staff practical ways to use relationships to support young people across the school.

Staff will also look at right-time development, the needs of young people who may be experiencing difficulties, and how Thrive-Online supports assessment and action planning.

For settings new to Thrive, the course includes 30 days’ free access to Thrive-Online from the date of the training day. A software subscription is needed after this period for ongoing access.

How the course works

How the course works

This course is delivered as two 3-hour virtual training sessions on Zoom.

Each session includes teaching from a Thrive Licensed Trainer, practical activities and group discussion. Staff are expected to take part in all activities and discussions.

It is designed for all staff who need a practical introduction to Thrive and their role in supporting a whole-school approach to wellbeing and positive mental health.

Over 100 members of staff - £2,700+VAT

For settings that would like a face-to-face training session, there is a flat rate charge of £490 per trainer per day, or part day, plus VAT.

Prices apply to courses starting on or after 1 September 2025.
