Thrive users’ evaluation survey – the key findings

During 2019, Thrive commissioned an independent research company to survey schools using the Thrive Approach.

The key findings from the survey are:

  • 82% of settings interviewed have changed their whole school approach to behaviour management following the adoption of Thrive

  • 73% of senior leaders said that Thrive now forms part of the School Improvement Plan or equivalent

  • 81% of educators interviewed have changed their teaching practice as a result of adopting the Thrive Approach

  • 77% of schools adopted Thrive to improve their whole school approach to children’s social and emotional development

  • 83% of schools have, or are planning to have, a dedicated Thrive room

  • 94% of schools have, or are planning, timetabling Thrive time into their curriculum

  • 98% of educators interviewed felt that their personal beliefs/opinion of Thrive was an enabler to adopting the Thrive Approach in their setting

  • 97% of educators interviewed believed the Thrive training they received was an enabler to adopting the Thrive Approach in their setting
