You’ll be introduced to the eight key aspects of a whole-school approach and given time to reflect on how these apply within your own setting.
The session will help you evaluate your current provision, identify key priorities and consider useful policies, resources and support services. You’ll also leave with practical tips, ideas and the beginnings of an action plan to support the mental health and wellbeing of your whole school community.

Amy brings practical insight from school leadership, mental health provision and neurodiversity support.
Amy has previously been a senior leader and mental health lead in a secondary school in West Sussex. She is now a freelance mental health and neurodiversity consultant for a range of educational settings.
She is the author of the books ‘Supporting staff mental health in your school’ and ‘How to build a meaningful mental health curriculum: a practical guide for schools’. She works as a Lead Associate for Belonging Effect. She also provides wellbeing support for a number of ITT providers and works for West Sussex Mind.
