Designed for teachers, teaching assistants, SENCOs and pastoral staff working with children aged 3–11.
This course is for existing Thrive Schools or Settings that want to train an additional Thrive Licensed Practitioner. If your school is new to Thrive, you’ll need to start with a route to becoming a Thrive School.
The Childhood Thrive Licensed Practitioner course helps education professionals understand what children’s behaviour is communicating and respond in ways that support emotional development and learning.
Over three months, you’ll develop the skills to recognise gaps in emotional development, build supportive relationships and plan targeted support that helps children feel safe, settled and ready to learn.
Through live training, guided learning and practical application in your own setting, you’ll gain the confidence and expertise to become a Thrive Licensed Practitioner.
Support children’s social and emotional development while responding more confidently to behaviour, attendance and wellbeing needs through a relational approach.
The course combines developmental theory with practical strategies you can use immediately in your setting.
