This course is designed for Thrive Licensed Practitioners who have completed Childhood training and are now working with babies, toddlers and young children aged 0–5.

It enables you to adapt your existing knowledge and apply Thrive effectively within early years settings.

You’ll deepen your understanding of early brain and body development, alongside the key principles that underpin emotional resilience and stress regulation. The course focuses on practical strategies, including play, creativity and relational approaches, helping you support young children to feel safe, connected and ready to learn.

  • Use cognitive strategies such as “lending your thinking brain”.
  • Apply play, creativity and the arts to support emotional resilience.
  • Use Thrive-Online to assess, plan and monitor development in early years.
  • Develop practical strategies tailored to babies, toddlers and young children.

Yes. The course ends with an assessment quiz and an 80% pass mark is required to complete the training successfully.
