Led by guest expert Paul Bray, this session explores how relationships, safety and belonging influence emotional regulation. You’ll develop practical ways to recognise distress, respond without increasing vulnerability and create environments where learners feel safe enough to engage and share concerns.
This session explores mental wellbeing through the concept of dysregulated communication, considering how relationships, safety and belonging underpin emotional regulation. It will also look at how school systems, adult responses and environmental factors can support or undermine a learner’s sense of emotional security.
With a practical focus, you’ll learn to recognise early signs of distress, respond without increasing vulnerability and create safer environments where learners feel able to engage and share concerns.
This session contributes towards maintaining your Thrive Licensed Practitioner status.
