This engaging session examines the impact of early experiences, relationships and adversity, while highlighting the powerful role of resilience, recovery and early intervention.
Drawing on developmental research, neuroscience and clinical practice, the session examines the first 1,001 days, the developing brain and nervous system, and the importance of attuned relationships. Participants will also explore ACEs, resilience, mismatch and repair, and the ways sensitive support and early intervention can promote healthy development and recovery. Throughout, the focus remains on possibility, hope and the positive difference that supportive relationships can make.

Develop your understanding of infant development and discover practical ways to support babies' growth, relationships and wellbeing in everyday practice.
